Aviva Investors and Ripple announced the launch of a tokenized share class of Aviva’s Sterling Liquidity Fund on October 26, 2026. Aviva invested GBP 50 million ($66 million) in the new class; the underlying fund holds about GBP 22 billion. According to the announcement, investment across Aviva’s two tokenized share classes exceeds GBP 86 million ($116 million).
Access is limited to eligible investors with digital wallets. The tokenized shares are issued and managed on the XRP Ledger, while the fund’s assets remain with its custodian, The Bank of New York Mellon. Investors retain the conventional fund’s investment objective, risk profile, liquidity characteristics and regulatory protections.
