Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said on Nov. 4 that pro-crypto candidates had won in U.S. elections across both parties. He called for clear rules for digital assets and more crypto development in America. Ripple legal chief Stuart Alderoty said early data from advocacy group Stand With Crypto showed a substantial number of pro-crypto members elected; he also credited the Fairshake super PAC with victories.
Garlinghouse cited 67 million Americans using crypto, but the figure comes from an ownership estimate in the National Cryptocurrency Association’s 2026 report, released May 13. The report put ownership at roughly one in four American adults, up from one in five a year earlier.
