Solana’s Alpenglow Upgrade Targets Millisecond Finality

Solana’s Alpenglow upgrade is designed to drastically improve transaction speed by reducing finality time significantly compared to its predecessor system, TowerBFT. While the testnet results are promising, the mainnet implementation remains pending as further integration and testing are required.
