Shiba Inu, Cardano, and Dogecoin are set to outperform Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP, says on-chain analytics firm Santiment. The firm’s analysis, based on the 30-day Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) metric, suggests a higher potential for a short-term rally for these altcoins.
The report highlights a significant bullish potential for Shiba Inu (SHIB) with a 30-day MVRV of -19.1%. Cardano (ADA) and Dogecoin (DOGE) also show strong bullish signals with MVRV values of -12.6% and -16.7%, respectively.
Shiba Inu stands out due to its lowest MVRV among large caps, indicating it could see a substantial price increase. Additionally, the recent surge in Shiba Inu’s burn rate and its acceptance as a funding option by Crypto.com are driving market sentiment.
The MVRV ratio serves as a critical indicator of whether an asset is overvalued or undervalued. A significantly negative ratio suggests undervaluation, providing a buying opportunity that could lead to a price increase. In contrast, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP show less aggressive short-term rally potential due to their higher MVRV ratios.
The strategic importance lies in the potential shift of investor focus from established cryptocurrencies to promising altcoins like Shiba Inu, Cardano, and Dogecoin, setting the stage for significant market dynamics shifts.
