Chromia, a Layer-1 blockchain, will launch its Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Mainnet on July 16. This follows the launch of its incentivized testnet with a 250,000 CHR token reward pool.
The MVP Mainnet will introduce the native CHR token and foundational network functions like payment of network hosting fees. Chromia, developed by ChromaWay AB, is a relational blockchain compatible with Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.
Chromia’s unique technology uses a modular framework, enhancing data handling for decentralized applications (dApps). This approach eliminates the need for third-party indexing services and data availability layers.
According to co-founder Alex Mizrahi, Chromia combines blockchain with cloud computing and database theory for a superior user experience. The CHR token price has surged 12% in 24 hours, indicating strong market interest.
The MVP Mainnet launch is a significant milestone in Chromia’s 12-year journey, setting the stage for future growth and increased total value locked (TVL) on the platform.
