Digest: Cosmos Hub Proposes 1M ATOM Transfer to Hydro for Liquidity Boost
Cosmos Hub has proposed transferring 1 million ATOM from its community pool to liquidity protocol Hydro. If approved, 500,000 ATOM will seed an ATOM liquidity pool on Hydro, and 500,000 will be staked with Stride, the top liquid staking platform in the Cosmos ecosystem. Hydro, currently in testnet, is an interchain liquidity management platform that enhances liquidity and governance across the Cosmos network.
ATOM is the second-largest native token for liquidity on Osmosis and plays a significant role in Astroport, a Cosmos liquidity protocol. The proposal aims to inject new liquidity ahead of Hydro’s launch. #Update #CryptoNews
