Popcat Surges 90% While SHIB and DOGE Drop

Over the past 14 days, Popcat (POPCAT) has surged over 90%, while established meme coins like Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) have seen price declines. Popcat’s price rose by 113.8% in this period, outperforming the overall cryptocurrency market and other meme coins.

Popcat reached an all-time high of $0.6840 on May 4 and is currently trading at $0.5844. It has outperformed the market with a 99% increase over the past week. This strong performance follows its recent listing on the Bybit exchange, which has boosted its trading volume significantly.

Conversely, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu have struggled due to their strong correlation with Bitcoin, resulting in sideways trading. Both coins face bearish technical indicators and declining network growth. Despite these challenges, their 365-day MVRV ratios remain healthy, indicating potential for recovery if the broader market rebounds.

Popcat’s recent gains highlight its growing appeal in the meme coin market, while the struggles of DOGE and SHIB underscore the importance of broader market trends for their performance.
