VeChain VeWorld Integrates Apple Pay via Transak

VeWorld, the self-custody wallet for the VeChainThor blockchain, now supports Apple Pay through an integration with on-ramp provider Transak. This update enhances the wallet’s functionality, allowing users to store and manage their Vechain (VET) and other VechainThor-based tokens (VIP180).

VeWorld users can access features such as fee delegation and Ledger wallet integration. The integration with Transak aligns with VeWorld’s goal of providing a user-friendly experience, according to product manager Fabio Fabbrucci.

Apple Pay, with over 640 million users, adds to VeWorld’s payment options, making crypto purchases more accessible. Transak’s Web3 payments infrastructure currently serves over 5 million users across 160 countries, demonstrating its broad reach.

The partnership is expected to contribute to VeChain’s growth by enhancing accessibility and convenience for its community. This long-term strategy aims to solidify VeChain’s position in the blockchain ecosystem.
