Circle has expanded its Web3 Services to Solana by launching Programmable Wallets and Gas Stations. This move aims to help businesses and developers build secure, scalable, and cost-efficient on-chain apps on Solana.
The integration will occur in two phases. The first phase includes support for fungible token transfers and user transaction fee sponsorship. The second phase will feature NFTs and Smart Contract interactions, enhancing use cases like gaming and brand loyalty.
Circle’s services already support Ethereum, Polygon PoS, and Avalanche, making Solana the latest addition. This expansion follows Solana’s recent growth, including native USDC and EURC integration and partnerships with companies like PayPal.
Circle’s integration with Solana strengthens the blockchain’s ecosystem, boosting its capacity for innovative applications and broader commercial use.
