DeFi Boosts Bitcoin, Adds Solana to Treasury

DeFi Technologies, led by CEO Olivier Roussy Newton, has significantly increased its Bitcoin holdings and added Solana to its treasury. On July 18, the firm purchased 94.34 BTC, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to 204.34 BTC.

The company’s strategic moves include making Bitcoin its primary treasury reserve asset and staking over $100 million worth of BTC on the Core Chain, which resulted in a 200% increase in its shares year-to-date. This marks a significant milestone in its Bitcoin adoption strategy.

Additionally, DeFi Technologies acquired 12,775 SOL tokens, emphasizing Solana’s scalability and efficiency for decentralized applications. Solana’s rapid growth and institutional backing make it a promising investment.

Moreover, the firm plans to stake 1,484,148 CORE tokens in CORE DAO’s staking facility, enhancing yield opportunities and network security while diversifying income streams.

These strategic actions underscore DeFi Technologies’ commitment to integrating traditional capital markets with the innovative DeFi landscape, ensuring long-term growth and stability.
