Geneva, Switzerland, June 11, 2024 – The TRON DAO team, in collaboration with HTX DAO, BitTorrent Chain, and JustLend DAO, concluded HackaTRON Season 6, showcasing groundbreaking blockchain innovations. Over 1,100 participants developed projects in five tracks: Web3, DeFi, Artistry, Builder, and Integration.
This season featured a prize pool of up to $650,000, including $500,000 in TRX and $150,000 in energy for TRON network transactions. Diamond sponsors included ChainGPT, Solidus AI Tech, and Ankr. The competition inspired productive innovation, leading to winners selected by both judges and the community.
Key milestones include TRON’s over 233.71 million user accounts and 7.75 billion transactions as of June 2024. TRON also hosts the largest circulating supply of USDT stablecoin globally. The network’s partnership with the Commonwealth of Dominica marked a significant first in national blockchain infrastructure.
