TRON DAO Research reported $2.2126 trillion in stablecoin settlement on TRON in the third quarter of 2026, up 5.1% from Q2. TRONSCAN records show that TRX issuance exceeded burns every day from July 1 through October 16, adding a net 125.8 million TRX in Q3 and 22.9 million from October 1–16. The Q3 increase was about 0.133% of TRX’s opening supply.
More value transferred does not by itself mean more TRX burned: transaction costs depend on network resources, which users can obtain through staking or delegation, while block-production and voting rewards create new TRX. From October 1–16, burns offset about 63.5% of issuance; matching issuance at the observed level would have required 57.5% more burns over that period, assuming issuance stayed fixed.
