KuCoin Launches Cloud Mining Platform Targeting Dogecoin Network
- KuCoin’s new platform, KuMining, aims to capture 10% of the Dogecoin network’s mining capacity.
- The platform launches with a hashrate of approximately 10 EH/s for Bitcoin and 200 TH/s for Dogecoin/Litecoin merged mining.
- Controlling this capacity would position KuMining as the fourth-largest Dogecoin mining entity, following F2Pool, ViaBTC, and AntPool.
- F2Pool currently leads with 910 TH/s, representing over 33.1% of the network’s hashrate.
- Hashrate purchasing will be available starting on September 16.
KuMining seeks to decentralize cryptocurrency mining by providing auditable data and eliminating institutional control over hashrate access. The initiative allows users to rent genuine hashrate from professional facilities without the complexities of hardware management.
With its target of capturing 10% of the Dogecoin network’s mining power, KuMining is poised to enhance opportunities in cryptocurrency mining for both retail and institutional investors.(Source)
