**Fleek** and **Polygon Labs** have announced a strategic partnership to deliver on-chain cloud infrastructure for services utilizing the **Polygon CDK**. This collaboration also marks the launch of Fleek’s public testnet.
Fleek aims to enhance on-chain service performance with integrated **CDN** and **JavaScript Runtime** services through its new public testnet, which includes **Edge Functions**. Preliminary tests show a Time to First Byte (TTFB) of 37.02 milliseconds—seven times faster than AWS Lambdas and 2.7 times faster than Vercel Serverless.
**Harrison Hines** of Fleek noted that this partnership allows Polygon CDK developers to access reliable, high-efficiency decentralized cloud services. **Sandeep Nailwal**, co-founder of Polygon Labs, emphasized that this aligns with Web3 principles, offering more freedom and flexibility.
This initiative addresses traditional cloud challenges like high costs and security issues, providing a decentralized, cost-effective alternative. Long-term, this collaboration promises to set new standards for decentralized cloud infrastructure, benefiting the entire blockchain ecosystem.
