Samsung Wallet’s Solana USDC rollout faces test

Samsung and the Solana Foundation announced plans to add cross-border USDC transfers to Samsung Wallet, with availability scheduled to begin in the final week of October 2026. The feature is intended for eligible US Galaxy users, but access depends on the rollout, region and supporting payment services.

The announced reach of 82 million US Galaxy devices is a potential audience, not a count of users or completed transfers. Fiat services would convert funds to and from local money, while Solana would provide the underlying blockchain infrastructure.
