  • Crypto exchange Bybit plans to release its new Solana-based decentralized exchange, Byreal, in the third quarter of the year.
  • A testnet version of Byreal is expected to launch on June 30, with a mainnet release scheduled for Q3.
  • Byreal aims to combine CEX-grade liquidity with DeFi-native transparency, offering low-slippage and MEV-protected swaps.
  • The exchange will utilize RFQ (Request for Quote) and CLMM (Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker) routing for improved liquidity and speed.
  • DEX total value locked (TVL) stands at $20.3 billion, down from a peak of $80 billion in November.

Bybit’s new decentralized exchange, Byreal, is set to enhance trading by integrating CEX-grade liquidity with DeFi transparency on the Solana network. The platform’s use of advanced routing technologies like RFQ and CLMM aims to provide users with efficient trading experiences characterized by low slippage and protection against MEV.

With its anticipated launch in Q3, Byreal seeks to establish itself in a competitive DEX market where leaders like Uniswap hold significant shares. (Source)
