FalconX Executes First Block Trade for CME Group’s Solana Futures

• FalconX completed the first-ever block trade for CME Group’s Solana futures with StoneX as counterparty.
• The trade occurred a day before the official launch of SOL futures contracts on March 17.
• CME Group introduced Solana futures in late February to address growing client demand.
• The new contracts are available in two sizes: standard (500 SOL) and micro (25 SOL).
• FalconX has executed over $1.5 trillion in trading volume across more than 400 tokens.

FalconX, a digital asset prime broker, successfully executed the inaugural block trade for CME Group’s Solana futures with StoneX, ahead of the official contract launch. The introduction of these futures aims to meet increasing market demand and follows a similar path as Bitcoin and Ethereum futures.
