Next Technology Holding said on Oct. 30, 2026, that its board had authorized executives to sell or pledge its approximately 5,833 bitcoin, in one or more tranches, to reduce exposure and improve liquidity. The authorization does not require a transaction: the company disclosed no completed sale and said the timing, size and completion of any transaction were not guaranteed.
The company said it reassessed its holdings after a reported Binance security incident, though none of its bitcoin was held at Binance and it reported no direct loss. It also cited hacking threats and potential risks from quantum computing.
