Binance Hackers Amass 2,300 More Bitcoin

Hackers who breached Binance on Oct. 29, 2026, converted stolen altcoins into about 2,300 BTC, worth $175 million at Nov. 7 prices, according to an analysis by Elliptic’s Tom Robinson. He said the funds now sit in new bitcoin addresses, while the hackers’ primary bitcoin and ethereum holdings remain untouched. His analysis also linked the hackers to North Korea.

Robinson said the transfers involved more than 20,000 wallets across 16 blockchains and at least 65,000 transactions. But Bitcoin.com News said data it gathered from Arkham Intelligence showed no corresponding addition of 2,300 BTC to the bitcoin holdings Arkham attributed to the attackers.
