Strive said on Nov. 2 that it had bought 124 bitcoin for $10 million at an average of $80,526 per coin, raising its holdings to 43,124 BTC. Chairman and CEO Matt Cole said existing cash funded most of the purchase; he did not give a transaction date.
Cole also said Strive used its at-the-market program for SATS preferred shares for the first time. SATS sales accounted for all proceeds raised through the company’s at-the-market programs that week. The purchase was smaller than the 6,182 BTC acquisition disclosed Oct. 26, which cost about $511.4 million.
