Bitcoin Short-Term Holders Accumulate Over 4 Million BTC
- Short-term bitcoin holders (STHs) have added 1.5 million BTC since September.
- Total STH holdings now exceed 4 million BTC.
- Bitcoin’s price surged from $60,000 to $109,000 before falling below $100,000.
- In past cycles, STHs held more BTC at peaks: 5 million in 2013 and 6.2 million in 2017.
- Long-term holders (LTHs) distributed 1.2 million BTC during the same period.
Short-term bitcoin holders have accumulated over 4 million BTC, increasing by approximately 300,000 BTC per month since September. Meanwhile, long-term holders have distributed a significant amount of their holdings.
