Binance, a top crypto exchange, plans to delist specific Bitcoin (BTC) margin trading pairs on July 8, 2024. This affects cross and isolated margin trading pairs involving DigiByte (DGB), Alien Worlds (TLM), and Voxies (VOXEL).
Notably, DGB/BTC and TLM/BTC pairs will be removed in both categories, while VOXEL/BTC will be delisted from isolated margin trading. Binance will suspend isolated margin borrowing for these pairs at 06:00 a.m. UTC on July 7, 2024, and close positions the next day.
The delisting impacts traders who use Bitcoin as a standard measure due to its relative stability. Binance advises users to close positions and transfer assets to Spot Wallets before the delisting to avoid potential losses.
Despite these changes, users can still trade DGB, TLM, and VOXEL on other pairs within Binance Margin. This move aims to streamline Binance’s offerings, aligning with market demands and ensuring a more efficient trading experience.
This strategic adjustment highlights Binance’s ongoing efforts to optimize its platform and provide top-notch service to its global user base.
