The Spot Bitcoin ETF market saw major investor activity last week, with over 15,000 BTC in inflows. This is much higher than the monthly BTC mining output.
Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of $154 million on Wednesday, marking eight straight days of gains. BlackRock’s IBIT led with $91.95 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC saw $74.57 million. Grayscale’s GBTC, however, faced an outflow of $16.09 million.
By Friday, total net inflows reached $252 million, extending the streak to ten days. BlackRock’s IBIT alone added $182 million. Michael Saylor highlighted this milestone, noting the global BTC ETF market is nearing 1 million BTC in holdings.
U.S. Bitcoin ETFs now hold 855,702 BTC, while global ETFs hold 991,336 BTC. These robust inflows could significantly boost Bitcoin prices and cause a supply crunch.
This sustained growth underscores the strategic importance of Bitcoin ETFs in the cryptocurrency market.
