WisdomTree Withdraws XRP ETF Application Amid Strong Market Inflows
- WisdomTree has withdrawn its XRP ETF application with the U.S. SEC, as per a filing dated January 6.
- Total inflows into U.S.-based spot XRP ETFs have surpassed $1.25 billion in recent weeks.
- On Tuesday alone, spot XRP ETFs recorded $19.12 million in net inflows.
- Franklin’s XRPZ led the inflow with $7.35 million, followed by Canary’s XRPC and Bitwise’s XRP with $6.49 million and $3.54 million, respectively.
- The total net assets of XRP ETFs have reached approximately $1.62 billion.
Despite significant interest from both institutional and retail investors, WisdomTree has opted not to proceed with its registration for the WisdomTree XRP Fund at this time, amidst a competitive crypto ETF market.
This withdrawal occurs even as spot XRP ETFs demonstrate strong performance, achieving over $19 million in net inflows on a single day and pushing total assets to around $1.62 billion.
