Citi Raises Targets: Bitcoin $113K, Ethereum $3,028

Citigroup raised its forecast for Bitcoin to $113,000 by the end of 2026, from $82,000, and its Ethereum year-end target to $3,028, from $2,240. These are forecasts, not measured results. The bank cited recovering ETF demand, increased crypto activity and improving financial conditions.

Citi estimates that about $5 billion will flow into crypto over the next 12 months, but expects advisers and brokerages to increase their involvement in Bitcoin gradually rather than all at once. It also said a September failure to advance the U.S. CLARITY Act weakened the chances of broader digital-asset legislation in the current cycle. The source identifies the unresolved U.S.–Iran conflict and its possible effects on inflation and interest-rate expectations as further uncertainties for crypto demand.
