Strike Launches UK: Boosting Bitcoin Adoption

Jack Mallers’ Bitcoin payment app, Strike, has launched in the U.K., aiming to boost Bitcoin adoption. This move allows U.K. users to engage in seamless Bitcoin transactions, making Bitcoin more accessible in a major economy.

Strike offers a suite of Bitcoin and Lightning Network services, including free and instant deposits, easy buying and selling, and automatic conversions. Users can also schedule recurring purchases and withdraw directly to U.K. bank accounts.

Mallers emphasized Bitcoin’s potential to address global economic issues like debt and inequality. Strike’s expansion follows recent growth into Europe, the U.S., Latin America, and Africa, showcasing its ambition to become a global Bitcoin-centric financial institution.

The app’s user-friendly features could attract new users and stimulate broader interest in Bitcoin. This strategic expansion may encourage other financial institutions to explore Bitcoin solutions, enhancing its integration into everyday financial activities.
