Fidelity International has listed its physical Bitcoin exchange-traded product (ETP) on the London Stock Exchange, enabling professional investors to access the largest digital asset by market cap.
Stefan Kuhn, Fidelity’s head of ETF and Index distribution for Europe, hailed the FCA’s approval of crypto-backed ETNs as a positive development, emphasizing the growing demand for digital asset exposure.
Fidelity’s Bitcoin ETP, initially launched in February 2022 on Deutsche Börse Xetra, now expands to the LSE. The firm also reduced the annual management fee from 0.75% to 0.35% in February 2024.
