Bitcoin ETF Giant Boosts BlackRock Stake

Avenir Group Increases Stake in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust

• Avenir Group increased its holdings in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) to 14.7 million shares, valued at $691 million.
• Goldman Sachs remains the largest IBIT investor with 30.8 million shares, a 28% increase from previous holdings.
• The Hong Kong-based Avenir Group also holds over 58,000 shares in the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, worth about $4 million.
• IBIT has amassed over $64 billion in assets under management as of May 14.

Avenir Group expanded its investment in IBIT to 14.7 million shares worth $691 million by March 31, while Goldman Sachs increased its stake to maintain its position as the largest investor with 30.8 million shares.
