Bitcoin Gains $857M from Institutional Investors

Institutional Investors Inject $857.9 Million into Crypto Assets

  • Bitcoin led the inflows with $706.1 million, totaling $4.9 billion year-to-date.
  • Short-Bitcoin products experienced $14.4 million in outflows, the highest this year.
  • Ethereum saw a reversal with $77.1 million in inflows after previous outflows.
  • The US accounted for the majority of purchases at $776.6 million.
  • Total assets under management in digital asset investment products rose to $160 billion.

The surge in institutional investment comes as Bitcoin surpassed $80,000 mid-week, coinciding with positive sentiment around the CLARITY Act stablecoin yield compromise. Other notable inflows included Solana at $47.6 million and XRP at $39.6 million, indicating broadening interest beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.

This week’s total inflow marks the sixth consecutive positive week for cryptocurrency investments, highlighting a significant recovery in market confidence and participation from institutional investors.
