Peter Brandt, a renowned chart analyst, predicts Bitcoin could reach between $130,000 and $150,000 by Q3 2025. Drawing from historical data on Bitcoin halving cycles, Brandt suggests the next peak will likely occur in late August or early September 2025.
These halvings, which reduce mining rewards by 50% every four years, have historically shown “almost perfect symmetry” with bull market cycles. Brandt notes that the time from a bull market’s start to its halving date closely matches the time from the halving to the market’s peak.
Brandt remains cautious, assigning a 25% chance that Bitcoin may have already peaked this cycle when it surpassed $70,000 in March. If Bitcoin falls below $55,000, he may increase the likelihood of an “Exponential Decay” scenario.
This analysis underscores the strategic importance of halving events in predicting Bitcoin’s long-term price movements.
