Tether Accumulates Over 27,700 BTC in Past Year, Outpacing Most ETFs

- Tether’s total Bitcoin holdings now stand at 100,521 BTC, valued at around $11.36 billion.
- The company began its structured Bitcoin acquisition strategy in May by committing to invest 15% of quarterly profits into Bitcoin.
Tether’s approach reflects a dual strategy of backing its stablecoin with Bitcoin while also investing for long-term growth through funds like XXI. Despite some scrutiny regarding asset disclosures and claims of liquidations for gold purchases, Tether maintains that its reserve strategy remains diversified.
