Bitcoin ETF Inflows Hit $49 Million Milestone

The American spot Bitcoin ETF sector saw a net capital inflow of $48.7 million on May 30, 2024, continuing a positive trend for 13 consecutive days. This period marks the second-longest streak of daily capital inflows in the sector’s history.

Leading the charge, the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) attracted $119 million. This reflects growing investor confidence in Bitcoin ETFs as a reliable investment vehicle. Notably, while four funds reported inflows, the ARKB spot Bitcoin ETF experienced a $100 million outflow, its largest loss to date.

The 13-day streak of positive inflows is outpaced only by a 17-day period from January 26 to February 20, 2024. This trend underscores sustained investor interest in Bitcoin ETFs, showcasing broader market confidence.

In contrast, Hong Kong’s market for spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs showed no significant activity, highlighting regional differences in investor engagement. Meanwhile, JPMorgan Chase experts suggest spot Ethereum ETFs may not match Bitcoin’s success due to fundamental differences between the assets.

The net capital inflow into American spot Bitcoin ETFs indicates robust investor sentiment and a growing acceptance of Bitcoin in diversified portfolios, likely fostering further market growth and innovation.
