Bitcoin Miner Inflows Exceed 20000 BTC

Bitcoin Resilience Amid Significant Miner Inflows to Binance

  • On May 18, miners sent approximately 21,000 BTC to Binance, marking only the second instance since February that miner inflows exceeded this amount.
  • Despite the large inflow, Bitcoin’s price did not experience a sharp decline and remained near $76,000.
  • Binance’s Bitcoin reserve increased from approximately 618,600 BTC on May 6 to about 634,000 BTC by May 26.
  • The critical support region for Bitcoin is between $72,000 and $73,000, preventing further downside continuation.

The CryptoQuant report highlights the market’s ability to absorb significant miner inflows without collapsing in price as a key indicator of demand strength. This resilience suggests that despite increased supply from miners, the market maintains a stable demand structure. The current setup indicates that while rising exchange reserves pose a risk if demand weakens, Bitcoin’s response so far has been robust.
