Tennessee Implements Ban on Bitcoin ATMs Amid Fraud Concerns
- Tennessee has banned Bitcoin ATMs, effective July, following a similar move by Indiana.

The legislation was co-sponsored by state representatives Cameron Sexton and Jay Reedy, who emphasized the machines’ role in defrauding vulnerable citizens. The FBI reported a significant increase in scams involving these kiosks last year.
