Bitcoin briefly fell below $80,000, touching $79,332 before recovering to about $80,240, according to CoinGecko. Analyst Stephen Wundke cautioned that a break below $80,000 could be misleading because weekend trading volumes are low.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $635.5 million in net outflows on Thursday and $137.9 million on Friday, according to SoSoValue. The funds still gained about $301 million for the week but remained down about $314 million for October. Analysts warned of further volatility ahead of the Federal Reserve’s rate decision and U.S. midterm elections.
