Bitcoin Treasury Launches on NYSE with $4B

Twenty One Capital to Debut on NYSE with $4 Billion in Bitcoin

  • Twenty One Capital, a Bitcoin treasury firm, will start trading on the New York Stock Exchange on December 9.
  • The company is a joint venture between Tether, Bitfinex, Cantor Fitzgerald, and SoftBank.
  • It holds approximately $4 billion worth of Bitcoin in its treasury, equating to about 43,500 BTC.
  • Cantor Equity Partners shareholders have approved a merger with Twenty One Capital, expected to close by December 8.
  • Upon completion of the merger, the company will operate under the name Twenty One Capital and trade under the ticker symbol XXI.

Twenty One Capital positions itself as potentially the third-largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, following a significant addition from Tether. The firm’s debut marks it as the first-ever Bitcoin-native company expected to be publicly listed on the NYSE.

This move highlights growing institutional interest in Bitcoin assets and reflects broader trends within financial markets toward cryptocurrency integration. (Source)
