NIP Group, owner of esports team Ninjas in Pyjamas, acquired a third batch of Bitcoin miners in exchange for more than 247 million Class A ordinary shares. CEO Hicham Chahine said the closed deal brings its mining capacity to roughly 13.85 EH/s, with a target of about 195 Bitcoin a month. That figure is a target, not a reported monthly output.
Chahine said the company may shift capacity toward AI computing if it consistently offers better returns than mining. Such a move would require further work; the miners cannot simply be turned into AI data centers.
