Aptos Enhances Multi-Chain Access with dWallet Integration

Multi-chain protocol dWallet has integrated with the layer-1 blockchain Aptos to enhance the user experience in DeFi and web3 gaming. This integration, announced recently, aims to introduce Zero Trust Protocols (ZTPs) to Aptos, boosting native multi-chain interoperability.

dWallet Network co-founder Omer Sadika emphasized that this partnership allows users to conduct native Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) transactions on Aptos without bridging or token wrapping. This move significantly broadens the horizons for DeFi and gaming.

The cryptographic 2PC-MPC model from dWallet encourages on-chain participation from users and validators, bringing more people into the DeFi ecosystem. Aptos researcher Professor Benny Pinkas noted that developers in the Aptos ecosystem can now create ZTPs that operate securely across all of Web3.

Launched in October 2022, Aptos is a monolithic non-Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible L1 with fast, low-cost transactions and reduced energy needs due to its proof-of-stake consensus mechanism.

This collaboration represents a strategic step toward a multi-chain future, enhancing interoperability and expanding the DeFi and gaming landscapes.
