Scalability Solutions for Web3 Ecosystem Growth

Avail raised $75 million in Series A funding from prominent venture capital firms, including Founders Fund, Dragonfly Capital, and Cyber Fund. This funding comes just before the launch of Avail DA mainnet, expected in a few weeks.

Co-founder Anurag Arjun noted the funds will address crucial Web3 challenges like blockchain fragmentation, insufficient data availability, and limited scaling. Avail DA impressed during its testnet phase, processing over 118 million transactions and over 140GB of data submissions.

Avail’s Unification Layer stands out by combining data availability and shared security to enhance interoperability among modular blockchains. This approach aims to build a secure, cost-effective, and user-friendly blockchain ecosystem. Additionally, the funding will support the development of Fusion Security, leveraging assets from Bitcoin and Ethereum for shared security.

Founders Fund Partner Joey Krug highlighted that Avail makes data availability cheaper and more efficient through its innovative tech stack. This initiative is expected to significantly advance the Web3 ecosystem’s scalability and security.
