Payward, the company behind Kraken, said on November 5 that an affiliated fund and its clients had bought an undisclosed amount of AAVE in secondary-market transactions. It gave no purchase price or stake percentage, so the size of the position and any voting control cannot be determined. Payward said it may buy more and cited opportunities for future collaboration, but disclosed no guaranteed purchase schedule or binding partnership terms. The token purchase was not an acquisition of the Aave network.
