Aerodrome and Velodrome are combining into Aero, a trading platform targeting seven blockchain networks. Existing AERO and VELO tokens are to move into the new AERO structure, while locked governance positions become sAERO. Dromos Labs CEO Alex Cutler says all exchange revenue will go to AERO stakers; the excerpt does not establish that this arrangement is already in effect.
The team said the two exchanges had distributed $578 million to tokenholders. Aero’s Predictive Allocation system is designed to reward stakers who direct liquidity incentives toward markets that generate trading revenue. The excerpt says the project has no venture backing or token sale, but gives no date for the combination.
