Crypto Market Erases $100B Rally

The crypto market gave up its post-election gains in the first week of November, with total market value falling from nearly $2.79 trillion on Nov. 5 to below $2.64 trillion by Friday, Nov. 6. The source places the decline amid a broader global sell-off but does not establish what caused it.

Bitcoin ended the week down 2.5%, from $77,845 to $75,877. Over seven days, XRP fell more than 7% and NEAR fell 15%, while zcash and tron each gained about 3%. Gold-backed tokens XAUT and PAXG rose 4.6% and 4.1%, respectively.
