Blockchain analytics platform Coinshares reports that the launch of the spot Ethereum ETF last week attracted $2.2 billion in inflows, the highest since December 2020. However, Grayscale’s ETHE faced $1.5 billion in outflows, nearly 20% of its assets.
BlackRock, Fidelity, and Bitwise saw net inflows of $1.18 billion, leading to a net outflow of $338 million for Ether ETFs. Despite this, Ether ETP products worldwide experienced a 542% surge in trading volumes.
Ethereum’s price rose over 4.8% in the last 24 hours, nearing $3,400. Open interest surged by $1.5 billion in three weeks, indicating potential for greater volatility.
The total assets under management for Ethereum ETFs reached $99.1 billion, with year-to-date inflows at $20.5 billion. This highlights the growing institutional interest in Ethereum.
