This week, two web3 startups raised over $10 million in venture capital. Hyperbolic secured $7 million for its blockchain-based AI project, aiming to create an open-access AI cloud platform. The round was led by Polychain Capital and Lightspeed Faction, with notable angel investors like Balaji Srinivasan and Sandeep Nailwal.
Mintify, an NFT startup, raised $3.4 million to enhance NFT trading infrastructure. This follows a $1.6 million seed round in 2022, bringing its total to $5 million. Mintify supports Ethereum and plans to expand to Bitcoin Ordinals.
Other July funding highlights include Riot’s $92.5 million acquisition of Block Mining and NPC Labs’ $18 million raise.
