OKX recorded about $445 million in 24-hour net inflows, the most among crypto exchanges tracked by DefiLlama. Binance had the largest net outflows, at more than $7 billion, after it said it began restoring withdrawals in phases following a $6.3 billion hack. The source does not establish that the hack caused the flows.
Binance said it had replaced about 95% of the affected assets; the remaining 5% were less liquid tokens it was still buying. It said it would absorb customer losses using its own funds, including parts of two reserve funds. About $3 billion in stolen assets frozen by industry partners was separate from those replacement funds.
