Dtcpay Secures $25 Million in Series A Funding with SBI Group Support

  • Singapore-based stablecoin payments firm Dtcpay has completed a $25 million Series A funding round.
  • The investment was led by Japanese conglomerate SBI Group through its Singapore-based funds, although specific contribution details remain undisclosed.
  • This funding follows a previous $10 million tranche from Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India and brings total pre-Series A funding to $16.5 million raised in June.
  • Dtcpay provides infrastructure for businesses to accept and transact in stablecoins and fiat currencies, including payment terminals and a Visa card.
  • The company holds licenses from the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Luxembourg for payment services.

The new funding will facilitate an expansion of Dtcpay’s merchant network and product offerings, enhancing its capabilities in the digital payments space. SBI aims to leverage this investment to strengthen digital asset connections between Japan and Southeast Asia.

With the completion of its $25 million Series A round, Dtcpay is set to enhance its services while supporting broader financial integration across regions.(Source)
