Gas abstraction layer Zyfi has closed a $2 million private funding round to advance native account abstraction on zkSync, enhancing the Ethereum ecosystem. The funding, secured by investors including Everstake Capital and Tenzor Capital, aims to simplify gas fee options across decentralized finance (defi) protocols.
Despite the rise in blockchain and crypto adoption, tools like MetaMask and on-chain transactions remain complex for many users. Zyfi’s zkSync-powered layer allows users to pay gas in Ethereum (ETH) or any ERC-20 token, addressing this issue. This feature offers greater flexibility in wallet management, including customizable gas payments and spending limits.
Zyfi has already facilitated nearly one million transactions for over 110,000 users, indicating significant traction. Founder Gauthier Vila emphasized that the investment will help developers focus on enhancing products for end-users. The strategic importance lies in making on-chain activities more user-friendly, thereby accelerating Web3 adoption.
