Ethereum ETF applicants submit 19b-4 forms

Five Ethereum spot ETF applicants, including prominent firms like Fidelity, VanEck, Invesco/Galaxy, Ark Invest, and Franklin Templeton, have submitted their 19b-4 forms to the U.S. SEC, marking a significant step towards the potential launch of Ethereum ETFs in the United States. This submission came just minutes before the deadline, highlighting the urgency and the competitive race among applicants to secure approval. A notable aspect of these submissions is the exclusion of Ethereum staking from the ETFs, addressing regulatory concerns and possibly paving the way for approval. With a 75% chance of approval noted by analysts, the launch of these ETFs could significantly impact Ethereum’s market, with speculations of driving its price above the $5,000 mark. This move underscores a strategic shift in the cryptocurrency investment landscape, emphasizing regulatory compliance and innovation in financial products.
