Ethereum ETFs Surge with $2B Inflows

Spot Ethereum ETFs Garner $2 Billion in Inflows Amid Market Volatility

  • Spot Ethereum ETFs witnessed over $2 billion in inflows within four weeks, excluding Grayscale’s $2.5 billion outflows.
  • If combined, these inflows would rank as the fourth-largest ETF launch in history, per ETF Store CEO Nate Geraci.
  • Global ETF flows have hit $911 billion year-to-date, with $17 billion from US-traded spot crypto ETFs.

Despite surpassing the $2 billion mark in inflows, spot Ethereum ETFs still trail behind their Bitcoin counterparts. Notably, Ethereum’s underperformance, with a 40% decline in the past month, and significant sell-offs by major traders like Jump Crypto, Wintermute, and Flow Traders, are contributing factors.

Looking ahead, the evolving macroeconomic conditions and Ethereum’s correlation with equities will be critical in shaping the performance and investor sentiment towards Ethereum ETFs.
