Caldera, a pioneering Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) platform, has secured $15 million in Series A funding led by Founders Fund. The round also saw participation from Dragonfly, Sequoia Capital, Arkstream Capital, and Lattice.
Caldera enables developers to launch solutions on Optimism, ZKsync, Arbitrum Nitro, and Polygon. To date, it has assisted over 50 projects with its rollup solutions. The new funds will support the development of Metalayer, aimed at unifying Layer 2 (L2) and Layer 3 (L3) ecosystems, enhancing decentralized application creation within the Ethereum ecosystem.
One standout feature of Caldera is its ability to let developers focus on their core products while managing the underlying infrastructure. This benefit is crucial for teams lacking the capital or resources to manually launch their own networks.
Caldera’s platform is poised to be a significant player in blockchain and cryptocurrency, driving future developments and fostering innovation in decentralized technologies.
